Order Pickers

The EKS 110 is the ideal truck for order picking in the first to third levels of racking. The platform and load section can be raised to a height of 118 inches, allowing individual items to be picked from heights up to 15 feet. The travel and lift controls are designed to allow for simultaneous operation to get to the point of order picking faster. The counterbalance design also allows for a wide range of loads  to be handled. The load   section is available with an optional walk-on design (with a pallet surround, if required) or with an auxiliary lift (without reducing the residual capacity). The auxiliary lift ensures that the picked goods can be placed at an ergonomically correct height. Additional ergonomic and technical features are utilized to make order picking easier, faster and more economical. These features include:

• Large storage areas on the battery cover and below the control unit.
• Extended operator platform width (optional).
• Infinitely variable speed control.

The order picker of the range EKS 310 with 48 V 3-phase AC technology, 2200 lbs capacity and order picking heights up to 409 inches present top performance in the high-rack warehouse. The EKS 310 is designed for picking single articles from the racking. The facility to ergonomically optimise order picking from a walk-on load section or via an additional lift increases both flexibility and economic efficiency. The EKS 310k is specifically designed for the medium performance segment. Its compactness provides maximum manoeuvrability. This high efficiency is available to the operator for effortless operation: The clearly arranged cab provides a generously dimensioned workplace. Large depositing areas, clear contours and the choice of various operating directions make work significantly more pleasant and consequently faster. At the centre of the effective operating concept is the two-piece operating console and the large display. With a number of innovative performance characteristics, they define technologically advanced system ergonomics:

• Operating arrangement in the drive direction, the load direction, both or diagonal. Information transmission via graphic display.
• Important operating data is quickly and legibly displayed in pictograms.

The EKS 314 order picker, with 48V 3- phase AC technology, a 3000 lb. capacity and a picking height up to 32 feet, provides high performance in high-rack warehouses. With a spacious compartment and clearly arranged controls, ideal working conditions for increased productivity and ease of operation are provided. Large storage areas and a functional ergonomic design help the operator work more efficiently and productively. The operating console has a large display so data can be viewed at a glance. All operating functions can be reached and activated with just one hand, due to the innovative control lever, which also provides the operator with a solid handle grip. These controls define the latest in intuitive system ergonomics. With a large, graphic display, important operating data is quickly and legibly displayed in pictograms. Travel programs are individually adjustable for comfortable and precise travel speed control. Steering sensitivity and number of turns from lock to lock are individually adjustable. Travel control requires only an easy thumb movement on the multi-function lever for a confident grip during acceleration and braking.
